CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Monday, April 21,2008 - 2:00 pm - City of Chattanooga
Police Officers had to shut the road down on Alton Park Blvd for over an
hour after a semi truck became hung inside the Rail Road overpass. The area
is marked well with signs, however, semi truck continually get stuck in the
overpass on a monthly basis. Luckily this semi was not loaded and was able
to get stopped before the trail was drug inside or worse thrown over on it's
side. A large wrecker was called to
scene to pull the semi out of the overpass. traffic had to be rerouted for
over an hour. The driver of the semi was reportedly sited for the mishap.
