RINGGOLD, Georgia - Tuesday, April 22,2008 - 6:20 pm - Catoosa County
Firefighters and medics with Hutcheson EMS were dispatched to an accident
with injuries on Highway 41 near Roach Hollow Road. When rescuers arrived on
the scene they reported a three vehicle accident with one person entrapped.
Rescuers quickly started to extricate the trapped man from his car that was
sandwiched between a pickup truck and an SUV.
Crews worked for several minutes to free the
man from the wreckage. The man luckily received only some minor injuries,
but crews still packaged and loaded him into an ambulance. Another woman
that had been traveling in the rear of the pickup truck was also injured and
she was also transported to the hospital. The crash is under investigation
by the Georgia State Patrol.
