North Dade Rescuers Work Interstate Crash

  DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Friday, April 25,2008 - 10:00 pm - North Dade Volunteer Firefighters and medics with Hutcheson EMS were dispatched to an accident with injuries on Interstate 24 near the 169 Mile Marker. Within minutes the first North Dade unit was on the scene and reported a multi car crash with one person injured.

One 18 year old female was complaining of multiple injuries. Crews quickly started packaging the young lady for transport. While firefighters checked the rest of the vehicles for injuries and potential hazards, EMS workers loaded the woman into an ambulance and transported her to the hospital.

The Interstate was shut down for a short time due to the crash. Georgia State Patrol Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
