CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Wednesday, August 6,2008 - 6:00 pm - City of Chattanooga
Police responded to a crash on I-24 Eastbound near the Rossville Blvd Exit.
When they arrived on scene they found a small Ford Ranger pickup truck on
it's side blocking two lanes of traffic. Luckily the driver was out of the
truck and uninjured. However, the wreck was causing a serious backup in
already heavy rush hour traffic.
Police officers quickly called for a tow truck to remove the the wreckage.
Within minutes a driver from Yates Wrecker service arrived and quickly up
righted the truck. The pickup truck was back on it's wheels and on the
shoulder in 4 minutes from the time the wrecker arrived.
