CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Sunday, January 18,2009 - 3:15 am - City of Chattanooga
Firefighters with Quint 8 and medics with Hamilton County EMS were
dispatched to a roll over crash on Highway 153 near Shallowford Road. Quint
8 arrived on the scene in short order and firefighters quickly started
assessing the scene. Firefighters almost immediately determined the injuries
were minor in nature.Within
minutes, medics with Hamilton County EMS also arrived on the scene and took
over the assessment. With the injuries minor, firefighters were able to turn
their attention to the overturned vehicle. Firefighters secured the leakage
of fluids from the vehicle and start cleaning up debris.
Several lanes of travel northbound were
blocked by the wreckage, however there was little to no traffic at that time
of the morning. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation by the
City Of Chattanooga Police Department.
