CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Saturday, June 28,2008 - 2:30 pm - Chattanooga
Firefighters and medics with Hamilton County Medic 13 responded to a crash
at the intersection of Broad Street and 25th. When rescuers arrived on the
scene they found a two vehicle collision with heavy damage. A young woman in
one of the cars was injured and trapped.
Firefighters quickly called for extrication.
Within minutes, Squad 1 arrived on the scene. Crews immediately went to work
extricating the woman from the wreckage. Fortunately the woman's injuries
did not appear to be life threatening.
Crews had the woman extricated within
minutes and quickly loaded her into an ambulance. She was rushed to Erlanger
Medical Center by Hamilton County Medics. The other woman driving the other
vehicle was uninjured in the crash.
City Of Chattanooga Police are
investigating the crash.
