Semi Rolls On Interstate 24,
Recovery Takes Hours

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Monday, July 21,2008 - 7:30 am - A semi tractor trailer
exiting off of Interstate 24 Eastbound at Broad Street, turned over on it's
side. Emergency crews were called to the scene and then a short time later
the City Of Chattanooga Police called a large wrecker to upright the semi
and clean up the mess. After some time the wrecker crew started to work on
the wreck. It became quickly a larger mess as the crews tore the trailer in
half trying to upright it. As the pictures show the contents of the trailer
were spilled out onto the ground as the tow trucks pulled with their large
cables. Several people standing around the area said they had never seen
this done like this before, but they were sure it was not suppose to happen
this way.
