CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Thursday, August 11,2011 - 5:30 pm - City of Chattanooga
Firefighters and medics with Hamilton County EMS responded to an accident on
Dodd's Avenue at 31st Street. When rescuers arrived on the scene they
reported a two vehicle accident with two people injured. Crews quickly
started packaging the two patients and loading them into an ambulance.
Hamilton County medics rushed the two injured patients to Erlanger medical
center. Witnesses say the crash
occurred when the white car, that was headed south on Dodd's Avenue, made a
left turn into a parking lot. The blazer headed north on Dodd's Avenue
collided with the white car and then struck a power pole. City of
Chattanooga Police are investigating to determine which vehicle was at
fault.
