DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Tuesday, August 2,2011 - 3:00 am - North Dade County
Fire Department, Trenton Fire Department and Medics with Life Guard EMS were
dispatched to an accident on Interstate 24 Westbound, just inside Georgia at
the Tennessee/Georgia State line. Rescuers were on the scene in short order
and reported one person trapped in the vehicle. Two other patients received
minor injuries and were out of the vehicle.
The one person that was trapped was quickly
extricated by North Dade County Firefighters. All three patients were
transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Georgia State Patrol
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
