DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Sunday, June 6,2010 - 5:45 pm - North Dade
Firefighters and Medics with Lifeguard EMS responded to an accident on
Interstate 24 near the 167 Mile Marker. When the first rescuer arrived on
the scene, he reported only a minor injury to a woman's hand. That woman
refused to be transported to the hospital, However the medic unit still
continued it's response to the scene just as a precaution.
One lane of traffic westbound was blocked as
a result of the crash. Dade County Sheriffs Officers are investigating the
crash, however a witness said somehow a broken down vehicle may have been
indirectly responsible for causing the collision.
