DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Thursday, May 27,2010 - 11:00 pm - North Dade County
Firefighters and Medics with Lifeguard EMS were called to a motorcycle crash
on Interstate 24 Westbound at the Interstate 59 split. When emergency units
arrived on the scene they reported two people down from a motorcycle crash
with non-life threatening injuries.
Crews quickly worked to package and load the two people into a Lifeguard
ambulance. Both people were transported to Erlanger Medical center in
Chattanooga.
Witnesses at the scene said that the
motorcycle was struck by a car traveling in the same direction causing the
crash. Witnesses said the car hit the motorcycle twice but kept going after
the crash. Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
