DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Tuesday, June 1,2010 - 5:45 pm - North Dade
Firefighters and Medics with Lifeguard EMS responded to an accident on
Interstate 24 near the 169 Mile Marker. When rescuers arrived they reported
two motorcyclists laying in the grassy median. Emergency workers quickly
started checking their injuries and then started packaging them for
transport. Both patients were taken by ambulance to Erlanger Medical Center
with minor injuries. The crash was
said to have occurred when a quick moving heavy down pour passed through the
area. A total of three crash occurred in the same area in a matter of
minutes, this being one of them. Georgia State Patrol Officers are
investigating.
