CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Thursday, July 22,2010 - 5:15 pm - City Of Chattanooga
Squad 4 and Medics with Hamilton County EMS responded to a motor vehicle
crash in the 3700 block of Tennessee Avenue, near the Bi-Lo. When
firefighters arrived on the scene they reported multiple vehicles involved
including a church bus with numerous children onboard. Fortunately, after
checking, crews determined their was only one person injured and his
injuries were believed to be minor in nature.
Hamilton County Medics arrived on scene in
short order and loaded the one person into their ambulance. That person was
transported to the hospital. The man that was injured was actually a
passenger in the small Honda. Non of the drivers or other passengers in the
other vehicles reported any injuries. Traffic on Tennessee Avenue was backed
up for a short time due to the crash. The rear end style crash is under
investigation by the City Of Chattanooga Police Department.
