CATOOSA COUNTY, Georgia - Monday, April 11,2011 - 5:45pm - Catoosa County
Firefighters and several medics with Angel EMS responded to a crash on
Mack's Smith Road at Steele Road. When the first rescue crews arrived on
scene they reported one of the vehicles had also collided with a tree during
the crash.
Emergency workers reported that 5 people
were injured in the crash and one was possibly pregnant. Rescue workers
quickly worked together to package and load all the patients into
ambulances. Medics with Angel EMS transported all the patients to local
hospitals. Non of the injuries ere believed to be life threatening.
Witnesses said the one car pulled out from
Steele road right in front of the oncoming vehicle. Georgia State Patrol
officers are investigating the crash.
