EAST RIDGE, Tenn - Sunday, March 6, 2011 - 9:30pm - East Ridge Firefighters
and Medics with Lifeguard EMS responded to a crash in the 5400 Block of
Ringgold Road. When rescuers arrived on the scene they reported two mid-size
pickup trucks had collided in the turn lane of Ringgold Road. Crews quickly
started checking the condition of the occupants of the vehicles.
To witnesses it appeared as if both vehicles
were pulling out onto Ringgold Road headed in opposite directions against
traffic. This caused both of them to enter the turn lane at the same time.
Luckily nobody reported any injuries. East Ridge Police are investigating.
