DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Sunday, May 1,2011 - 12:30 pm - Davis and Trenton
Fire Crews were dispatched with Medics from Life Guard EMS to a reported
accident with injuries on South Highway 301 near County Line Road. When
rescuers arrived on the scene they reported three people possibly injured,
still in one of the pickup trucks. Crews quickly started to assess the
injuries and prepare the patients for transport to the hospital. The driver
had extremely minor injuries and decided not to be transported, however the
two passengers both were loaded into an ambulance and taken to Erlanger
Medical Center. Their injuries were non life threatening. The driver of the
other pickup truck was said to have not received any injuries in the crash.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the exact cause of the crash.
