DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Saturday, November 21, 2009, 9:30 PM - North Dade
County Fire Department and medics with Life Guard EMS were dispatched to an
accident with injuries on Slygo Road near Slygo Ridge Road. When the first
Dade County Sheriffs Officer arrived in the area, he quickly reported the
driver had exited the vehicle and was walking south on Slygo Road.
Medics and rescue workers quickly made
contact with the driver, whom was seriously injured. Crews immediately
packed and loaded the man into an ambulance. He was transported to Erlanger
Medical Center. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by
Georgia State Patrol Officers.
