DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Thursday, October 13,2011 - 1:00 pm - Several
emergency crews from Trenton and Life Guard EMS rushed to the scene of a
head on crash on Highway 136. The crash occurred half way between the curves
just east of the Highway 301 cutoff. Rescuers were on the scene quickly and
immediately reported both drivers of the vehicles involved were trapped and
seriously injured. Firefighters with
Trenton Fire Department worked quickly to extricate the drivers. Crews
quickly loaded the injured patients into ambulances. They were both rushed
to Erlanger Medical Center. The exact cause of the crash is under
investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
