TRENTON, Georgia - Tuesday, September 30,2008 - 7:00am - Trenton
Firefighters were alerted of a structure fire on Jackson Avenue. When the
first fire unit arrived on the scene they reported a working fire in a
trailer home. Fire crews immediately pulled an inch and 3/4 hose line and
started a primary attack through the front door of the trailer.
As additional firefighters and equipment
arrived on the scene, crews quickly gained a knockdown on the blaze.
Arriving firefighters pulled a second line and joined the attack. Within
minutes the fire was brought under control.
One man was treated for some smoke
inhalation, but he is believed to be in stable condition. The cause of the
fire is still under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
