CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Saturday, October 2,2010 - 2:00 am - City Of Chattanooga
Firefighters responded with medics from Hamilton County EMS to an accident
with injuries and possible entrapment on Brainerd Road at Lee Highway. When
the rescuers arrived they reported one person injured in the vehicle with
power lines down on it. The rescuers quickly called for some with the
Electric Power Board to shut the power down so they could free the victim.
In short order the Electric Power Board was
on the scene and shut the power off to the lines. Rescuers quickly freed the
victim and medics rushed him to Erlanger Medical Center. His condition is
not known. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the City Of
Chattanooga Police Department.
