RINGGOLD, Georgia - Saturday, October 2,2010 - 2:45 am - Catoosa County
Firefighters were alerted of an out building fire at 91 Old Field Lane.
Reports coming in to the 9-1-1 center reported the fire was quickly
spreading to the house, which was just feet away from the out building.
Within just minutes, Catoosa Engine 6 arrived on the scene and firefighters
quickly pulled and inch and 3/4 hose line. The crew quickly made an
aggressive knockdown on the fire and stopped it from spreading to the inside
of the house. The outbuilding was a
total loss, however the quick work of the fire crews saved the home. The
cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no reports of any
injuries in connection with the fire.
