CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Wednesday, September 17,2008 - 1:00pm - City Of
Chattanooga Firefighters and medics with Hamilton County EMS responded to an
accident on Brainerd Road near the intersection of Tunnel Blvd. When the
first rescue crew arrived on the scene they reported a motorcycle and a
vehicle had collided injuring two people on the motorcycle.
The male driver of the motorcycle received
serious injuries while the female rider received more serious injuries and
was rushed to Erlanger Medical Center in critical condition. The male driver
of the motorcycle was also rushed to Erlanger by Hamilton County Medics. The
driver of the SUV that the motorcycle collided with was uninjured.
Witness said the motorcycle lost it in the
curve causing the crash, however City of Chattanooga Police are still
investigating.
