FORT OGLETHORPE, Georgia - Monday, December 3,2007 - 3:45 pm - Fort
Oglethorpe police are investigating the cause of a crash that left a woman
trapped inside an SUV that was on it's side on Battlefield Parkway. Fort
Oglethorpe Firefighters were called to the scene to extricate the woman from
the wreckage. Her injuries were believed to be minor in nature.
Medics with Hutcheson EMS packaged and loaded
the woman into an ambulance after firefighters freed her. She was
transported to the hospital by Hutcheson EMS. There was another car involved
in the crash that occurred as the SUV was pulling out of the bank onto
Battlefield Parkway. All of the westbound lanes were closed while crews
worked to clear the wreckage.
