CHATTANOOGA Tenn - Tuesday, December 8,2009 - 9:45 am - Firefighters with
the City of Chattanooga Fire Department and medics with Hamilton County EMS
responded to a crash on the corner of 4th Avenue and 31st Street. When units
arrived on the scene they reported a pickup truck and a car had collided
injuring two people in the car.
Rescuers quickly went to work packaging the two patients for transport.
After being loaded into the Ambulance, medics with Hamilton County EMS
transported the two injured patients to Erlanger Medical Center. Both of the
patients were believed to to be in stable condition with non-life
threatening injuries.
Witnesses at the scene said the pickup
truck ran the stop sign at the intersection, causing the crash, However City
Of Chattanooga Police are still investigating.
