DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Monday, February 1,2010 - 10:00 am - New Home
Firefighters and Medics with Life Guard EMS were called to a head on crash
on New Home Road in front of the Coal City Church Of God. When rescuers
arrived on the scene they reported one person injured in a small red pickup
truck. That patient was the driver of the red pickup and his injuries were
believed to be non life threatening.
Witnesses said that a public works truck was
pulled over to cut a fallen tree out of the roadway, when the small red
pickup traveling toward the downed tree, collided head on with the stopped
public works vehicle. Luckily, there was no one in the public works vehicle.
The driver of the small red truck was transported to Erlanger Medical
Center.
