DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Tuesday, October 27,2009 - 5:45pm - Several emergency
crews including City of Chattanooga Engine 20, North Dade County, Trenton,
Hamilton County EMS and Life Guard EMS were all dispatched to a crash
involving several vehicles including a tractor trailer on Interstate 24
Eastbound at the Tennessee/Chattanooga State Line.
When emergency crews started arriving on the
scene it was quickly evident there were no injuries. It was also quickly
evident that the crash was in Georgia. Crews immediately started returning
to service. Meanwhile Georgia State Patrol officers started working the
wreck and calling for wreckers to move the vehicles. The exact cause of the
crash is still under investigation.
