DADE COUNTY, Georgia - Saturday, September 26,2009 - 12:45 pm - North Dade
and Trenton Fire units were dispatched with Life Guard EMS to an accident
with injuries on Interstate 24 Eastbound near the Marion County Line. Within
minutes, the first rescuers were on the scene. Moments later additional
emergency crews arrived. Crews quickly packaged one patient that was driving
an SUV. Fortunately that drive only had minor injuries and no one else was
injured. Traffic was shut down to
one lane of travel while rescuers worked the scene. Georgia State Patrol
Officers are investigating the crash.
