CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Tuesday, November 6,2007 - 7:15 pm - City of Chattanooga
Firefighters with Engine 15 and Hamilton County medics rushed to the scene
of a head on crash on Germantown Road near Rogers Road. When crews arrived
on the scene they reported a two vehicle head on crash with multiple
patients.Firefighters and medics
quickly spread their attention across four teenage women that were all
injured. One of the women was critically injured and needed to be
transported to a trauma center immediately. Firefighters and medics quickly
packaged and loaded that woman in an ambulance and rushed her to Erlanger
Medical Center.
There were a total of two teenage girls in
each car. all of which were taken to Erlanger Medical Center. Witnesses said
the green Ford Taurus lost its brakes and swerved into the path of the red
car causing the crash. City of Chattanooga Police are investigating and
charges are pending.
