CHATTANOOGA, Tenn - Saturday, September 9,2006 - 12:30 pm - City of
Chattanooga Engine 8 and Hamilton County EMS were dispatched to a multi car
crash on Shallowford Road near Hickory Valley Road. When Quint 8 arrived on
the scene, they reported a four vehicle rear end style crash with one person
injured. Within minutes paramedics with Hamilton County EMS were on the
scene, they immediately started packaging the patient for transport to the
hospital. Crews checked with all the
other drivers and passengers just to make sure there were no other injuries.
Traffic on Shallowford Road had to be rerouted around the crash while crews
worked to clean up the wreckage. City Of Chattanooga Police are
investigating the cause of the crash.
