HOUSE COLLIDES WITH A TRACTOR TRAILER

Tuesday, December 14,2004 - 12:00 pm - East Ridge Tennessee Emergency personnel responded to a rather unusual call. A tractor trail was reported to be inside of a house on Camp Jordan Parkway.

When rescue workers arrived on the scene they discovered that the call was not far from the truth. A tractor trailer loaded with some construction equipment had struck a home and went partially inside.

At the time of the crash a woman, The mother-in-law of the owner, was said to have been taking a shower not more than ten feet away from where the truck crashed into the house.

The driver of the semi said that the truck started sliding while they were trying to unload a piece of equipment. the driver also said that they could not get the truck stopped in time.
